Itinerary

Option 2 –

1

Day 1: Munnar

Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted by our representative at the Cochin Airport. Transfer to Hotel. Proceed to Munnar area paradise situated at the confluence of three mountain streams and perched 1600 m above sea level. On the way visit Cheeyappara water falls. Check in to the hotel. Afternoon proceed to visit Echo Point, Kundala Lake. In the evening, back to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2: Munnar

Today being the day to explore more in Munnar, Mattupetty Dam, Tea museum. Eravikulam National Park (Closed during FEB & MAR every year due to breeding time) Overnight stay at hotel. Please note the below points: Eravikulam National Park- Timings 08.00 hrs-17.00 hrs. Tea Museum: Timings 10:00 16:30 hrs: Mattuppetty Dam Timings: 09:30 hrs – 15:00 hrs

Day 3: Munnar – Alleppey (200 Km)

Check into the house boat and enjoy the cruise with all meals and overnight at house boat.( A/c will function 9pm to 6am except Premium boat. )

Day 4: Alleppey – Kovalam (170 Km)

We will proceed to kovalam.Check into hotel.Kovalam offers an excellent diversity with Kovalam beach to suit all desires and occasions. Three curve shaped beaches, alienated by stony outcroppings, from the major attraction of this coastal resort.Relax on the beach in the evening and overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Kovalam

Morning after breakfast proceed to Trivandrum located in the southwestern tip of India, bound by the Arabian Sea in the west and Tamil Nadu in the east. Named after Anantha Padmanabha or Lord Vishnu, the city is home to many ancient temples. The place has a long shoreline with internationally renowned beaches, historic monuments, backwater stretches and a rich cultural heritage make this district a much sought-after tourist destination. Clean and green, Trivandrum the capital of Kerala is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Go for a visit to Padmanabha Swamy temple, Napier Museum and Srichitra Art gallery. Have a look around to Horse palace near the Padmanabha swamy temple which houses numerous artifacts. Visit the zoo near to The Napier museum. The park has plenty to excite the animal lover in you. The Trivandrum zoo is one among the best designed in Asia and is set amidst woodland, lakes and lawns. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Kovalam – Kanyakumary Day Trip

Breakfast. Day trip to Kanyakumary. Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula and the meeting point of three seas, namely Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean. En route you should never miss the Padmanabhapuram Palace, the largest wooden palace in the World and the magnificent Sucheendram Temple, where the Trinities are worshiped. At Kanyakumari you can visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the Kanyakumari Devi Temple. Enjoy the sunset. Drive back to Kovalam.

Day 7: Kovalam – Trivandrum Airport

Breakfast, Check out. It’s the time to bid farewell. On time transfer to Trivandrum Airport for your return flight.
